Differential Associations of Body Mass Index with Depression, Anxiety, and PTSD Symptom Trajectories in Patients Receiving Ketamine Infusion Therapy in the Real World
Ketamine infusion therapy (KIT) is widely used for treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and PTSD, yet the factors that shape how patients respond remain poorly understood. Body mass index (BMI) reflects metabolic and inflammatory status and may influence psychiatric treatment outcomes, but prior research has been mixed and largely limited to depression. This study examined linear and nonlinear associations between BMI and symptom trajectories in patients receiving ketamine therapy across real-world clinical settings using the Osmind platform.
